Yeah,the fish we were marking on graph were in schools of 8 to 10 and right in front of them were huge balls of baitfish, a few minutes later they were pushing them to the surface for lunch! but all of it was happening right at the mouth of every cove we visited.

fished a small club tourney on saturday,
we caught fish in buck, pierce and the larger fish were boated up in isle du bois. we boated fish in every area we targeted, but it may have been only two or three, i was surprised that there was not a larger school of fish near the mouth of pierce creek.

started with a shallow top water bite around grass milfoil, pond weed and strands of hydrilla, moved to rocky banks, and ended the day flipping timber. depth was between 1 foot and 4 foot. you could see their wake coming after the topwater baits.
