i think it does happen more on fork, but thats because everyone is obsessed with that lunker. most of the locals and regulars have thier own spots but its the "tourists" that just watch other guys catchin fish and decide thats where they have to be.

When I was fishing Monticello last year another boat went through the bridge and started fishing the rip rap on the other side. I was into the fish pretty good and when the other guys held off I said why don't you come over and fish the other side. They did and we both were into them. A good time for everyone.

Were they in a red/white skeeter????(red boat, white stripes, younger man driving) It was a Skeeter but not red and white. Funny thing is I took a friend to Fork today that I really wanted to fish this one spot I have been whackin good slots at for the past 5 weeks. Its a community hole and 3 times we ran to it and 3 times we busted a u turn because there was a boat on it every time. Thats why I don't like weekends on Fork, I mostly fiish Mon-Thur. But point is , I know there were fish there and even though we had a tough day I wasnt going to pot lick those boats. Oh and too add to it , the 1st boat we saw on that spot early in the day ran up on us and started fishing another spot we had been on an hour, conviently after we boated a 5-6 lb fish , lol.... ..it happens , but I still love this country!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA

If that amazes you then you don't get out much. Mild compared to some things the nuts will do.
Best thing to do is either mix it good with them or totally ignore it and don't let them ruin your. For me there is little middle ground. Most of the time I ignore them.

Im a Forker and guess Im used to it or it doesn't bother me.....
Fork is the most popular and crowded lake in the country, so you have to expect some things like this. Tourist see you catch em they are going to come over. We had a guy running by on plane come to a stop and start fishing when we caught one on Saturday.
Oh well

The big difference in the "Forkers" I roll with is this....... if we pull up on a hole and your there, we will just go to another. News flash, the guys that fish Fork regularly have more than 1 hole. That was most likely someone that doesnt fish tha lake that much. Not a Fork regular.

i fish Fork on a average of 3 days/week normally Monday thru Thursday. Don't ever consider weekends simply for the reason's stated above.
Cannot imagine what Fork is gonna look like during the McDonalds with so many stumps popping up everwhere.
