That is why I'll always put it up to a vote and let the majority speak. I decided at the Spring G2G to try a new lake (Ray Roberts) to spark more interest by going to better fishing lake than the Vine. However, even with the move it was essentially just the same people who show up to all the other events, just with a little more driving. If you want to see a tournament series please start a new thread, let's keep this one geared on getting an event site set and what to eat.

Man, I might be able to make the one next spring (assuming there will be one then), but this one will be during hunting season, so I doublt I'll be in town for it...

Resurrecting this one so we can get a date/lake/activities locked down, list weekends and we can start voting.
I will be blackening fish for taco's and will bring chipotle coleslaw to go on them.
My preferred lakes would be grapevine, lewisville or ray roberts, in that order.

Why doesn't someone that understands all of this computer stuff post a poll for date and location.
Then we will have a bit of a quick head count and location opinion.

Just a heads up we (Red River Fly Fishers) have booked Mariner Sails for the 5th of November so you might want to choose a different date if'n you want them to come again. The 12th would be cool because that's the only Saturday in November I have open.
