I also like my shimano crucial 7'2" extra heavy-- got several and they aren't too much money but will pull up bigguns

I like the old school ALL-STAR rods. I'm only 19 so its unheard of for someone my age........they were big in the 70's and 80's. New ones are still good quality. Personally i think the BEST rods today are Shimanos.

My fav so far is one you've never heard of. It's a Colmic "Black Weapon." This is an Italian company just starting up in the US. I won one of these rods at a tournament. I hate to say it because I'm a Falcon loyalist, but I'd put that Colmic up to any of my Falcons (all Cara's) and I'd probably reach for the Colmic.

I've got a kistler, couple of falcon's, some skeet's, and some various all stars but my go to will always be my all stat T-38's that are no longer made. What can I say I like variety.
