You've obviously failed to grasp some of the nuances of "shared prosperity." Yeah I should work hard apply myself so others that dont have to? And I should support them becuse I worked hard in school and got a good job when I got out, while the other kids smoked dope and skipped school?..I would love the gates fees togo up to 10 bucks a person.. And yes the shore fishermen/people with less income seem to leave more trash on average at least what I have seen at these two lake.. I think he was speaking "tongue in cheek". I must admit I thought about it real hard too when I first read it.

Ehh it's not worth being banned over, I'd love to make some comments on the situation on which you are referring to but I'd be called a TEA party racist .

Perhaps the lake is but a --what's that word the economists are so fond of using? "microcosm"? --of the nation.

Also think they should check for citizenship at the gate..And if you dont have it deport you. This made me LOL because of how many people would be kicked. I say atleast check for liscences if they did that and managed the sh** that goes in there and ruins the grounds for everyone, I would go more, wouldnt mind paying more and they would probably have better fishing. I bet 75% of the people that are in there do not report any fish caught for fear that most of em are illegal in one way or another.

this thread made me LOL! fellas! but i will say if the reds are so much better at the coast, i'd challenge someone that in June or July i could catch a bigger red on any given day then someone in the bay. Maybe someone knows of a secret spot where 20lb'ers are just hanging out in the bay, but i don't and if i did i'd be there slaying them too! I too enjoy catching just about any fish out there. Bass are fun at the local ponds for sure. Im sure at one point you've caught a bass that was stocked... did it make the catch any less fun? doubt it.

The reds and corvina are what ruined these lakes. And that's also what attracted the people that ruin the park and the ones that need to be deported. I remember when them lakes were rated in the top 10 tear end and year out. Now you couldn't catch a bass consistently if you had to. Let them stock lake San Antonio with that [censored] fish and return them to where they use to be

i know you can mark i wasn't talking to you LOL ... i love that there is no bass fishermen at the lake ever... they all got their nose in the air like their sh!t dont' stink... love a lake full of reds! long live the current cali!!!! Might want to enjoy it while it lasts since that plant at Calaveras will be shutting down in a few short years. The power plant is the reason the Reds thrive in the warm waters as well as the talapia, and without the plant it will most likely once again only support those green trash fish and other native species. I'd also look for Braunig to join since it to is an ancient power plant lake as well. http://www.businessweek.com/ap/financialnews/D9NVQ3600.htm
