My guess was LMB/sandbass because of the white horizontal lines on his belly. He was probably 13-14" long and his mouth was incredibly small for his size! I thought smallmouth at first but the colors arent right at all. Or maybe its just a plain old LMB with funky colors and a small mouth? I dont know. He hit a white chatterbait with a LFT magic shad trailer.

Black bass are part of the genus Micropterus and white bass are part of Morone. You can't cross species from other genera. It looks like a beautiful spotted bass. I bet it fought well.
