That looks like a mass of baitfish, but it is just too big. I would guess old concrete.

looks like could be "white wall tires" from few years back, maybe 14in or 15in size hard to tell from the distance.
i have no idea

Thats cool Doug I just installed my 898 and Im picking up fish and laydowns and such on the bottom but when I pass a tree sticking up out of the water it doesnt seem to show it for some reason any tips most were kind of small never did go past any good size ones you think maybe they were just to small to get a good return or is there some finr tuneing I need to still do.

Smaller objects will be harder to see on the screen but what I do is speed up the chart speed a couple notched to elongate the returns to make it easier to see.
