I should get an under on Fork and put it on the carpet and show you guys what it does to the fish a few days down the road. Big fish generally die after a few days and resemble a nasty red scab, makes the fish not even suitable for a skin mount.
As big of a deal as people make about "holding the jaw correctly" on the forum I'd figure boat flipping big fish would be on a lower level than that.
I'm with you, Cam...it can't be very life-enhancing for the LMB...

Boat flipping is when you set the hook on a fish, you jump in the seat and start up the engine, put it in gear, and gun it and then let off over and over. While holding out the rod to one side, the waves start getting bigger and bigger and the fish will come up and "flip" over each wave, until it all settles down again. They probably should have called it "fish flipping" instead of "boat flipping". Oh yes, my biggest has been 6.5lbs but I make sure to lip them on their way down.

9.02. She hit a spinnerbait and charged the boat, and I just flipped her. I thought it was a 5lber or so, it was dark I had no idea. Soon as the landed it sounded like somebody turned a bull loose in my jonboat

I didn't realize the fish care issue had come up in this thread. I have to agree with Cam, I don't flip fish unless their small enough to land in my hand these days. That big fish was several years ago before I realized it could harm a fish. Maybe aluminum is easier on them than carpet.

just had a thought some one needs to make something that you can spray on the fish to aid in them staying alive after some one has cough and handled them
its a million dollar invention some one just needs to run with it just dont forget about me lol
