Mike I have not seen a fish at the RED BARN this year. I keep checking it out but no good. Guess I haven't been there at the right time.

I don't troll very often, but if that's what it takes right now, I'll do it!!!
Who sells the pet spoons? And is it just an old school hell bender?

Cause my wife loves to troll, and sounds like I'm hearing a lot about that set up right now. Info please.

Thanks guys

I use to post daily because I was fishing and catching daily. If you notice I might post one or two reports a week now and usually just to say how tough the fishing was. I don't mind the high temps when the fish are co-operating but spending 5 hours in 100+ degrees to catch a few yellows is not for me. Amanda and I were fortunate enough during the tourney to catch 7 keepers and get the win but I definitely wouldn't bank on being able to do that every day with these conditions. I can't tell you the number of days this month I have spent 5 plus hours on the lake and caught less than five fish. VIP warned me this spring that it would happen and I told him he was crazy....guess who had to eat his words. Confidence is a finicky beast...takes lots of success to gain it but only a few disappointments to lose it. Hang in there and things will turn around soon enough!! thumb

On RH this am, saw JV, nothin' happening around Robertson Park, so he went east & I went west. Two phone calls later neither one of us was doing any good. SO...if John Varner ain't catchin' fish on Hubbard, nobody is. Need some cooler weather &it will pick up.
