COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

Keeps growing!
15 teams
1st - $270 2nd - $160 3rd - $110 4th - $75 Big Fish - $75
One more team and we pay a 5th place!
Reminder that fishing hours are 6:45-12:15. Weigh in will be in the parking lot near the Speegleville Ramp (park next to the slippery minnow marina). Be safe and have fun and call with issues! Fish were aggressive today, so the weights should be good! 254-289-9821.

It was super hot today. I mean the temperature. 108 degrees when I left the ramp @ about 1300. Bring lots of water/gatorade and drink it. I tend to forget to do that when I am fishing fast/hard. Little dehydrated when I got home. Got to tell a story from today. Rick and I were fishing a brushpile today and I had just reeled in a fish. As I got it in the boat another crappie came out of the water like a bass and tried to jump in the boat. Damndest thing I ever saw when fishing. Guess he was po'd cuz the fish I caught got the bait he wanted. See ya all tomorrow. Good job Lucas.

Speegleville or lacy point now...dock at twin bridges is pretty shallow...midway is way too flat now.
190....35 north.....hwy 6 west.
Or 436 to 317 to 84....turn left on speegleville road towards the launches

look at the routes on google earth if in doubt, there is a lack of signage around the parks and lake guiding you where to go. Great little lake, but they sure need some signs. lots of dark dirt roads around the lake with no signs, so plan accordingly.
