I'm sure Rick will have photos up later, but here are the final results from those that monied from the 15 teams fishing. The bite was drastically different than the day before for some reason.

1st Gaby/Jordan - 8.00
2nd Kirkland/Nguyen - 7.1
3rd Marks/Marks - 6.94
4th Loafman/Loafman - 6.9
Big Fish - Wigley/Brown - 1.72!!!! Big fish by .3 pounds.

For the series:
1st Gaby/Jordan with an amazing 3 wins in 4 tournies! - 35 Points
2nd - Loafman/Loafman - 31 Points
3rd -McAffrey Skidmore - 21.5 Points
4th - Biester/Vincent - 19.5
5th - Wigley/Brown - 19

Thanks to all who fished and helped and especially to Dave Biester for the use of the board and the scales!

Any feedback on the tourney is welcome with regards to what you might like to see tweaked for next year.

A shootout it was!! We had 7 fish in the first 5 minutes. Came home with a 2 man limit and caught well more than that. We didnt find the big fish where they had been before but I did find a few decent ones on some other piles I wasnt even planning on fishing. I cant say enough about how good the Slab Bandits worked again today. Texas Toast, PearlTruse and MelloYello were are main colors. We had a good time and are looking forward to fishing the whole series next year.

Big thanks to Lucas for putting this series together!! Lets keep it going and getting bigger.

A HUGEEEE thanks to Steve (leanin post) for getting me started and teaching me this summer. For everyone that dosnt know him, this guy KNOWS HIS STUFF!!! Glad you were finally able to make it into the money.

A big thank you to Lucas for putting this series together. This was a fun series and enjoyable. And to Steve Loafman for helping the young whipper snapper at the weigh-ins.

For those thinking about fishing a crappie tournament, try this series next year. This is not high pressure fishing. Everyone enjoys just being out there, learning some new stuff and trying to beat the fish.

Have to agree with Ken. It was a fun time fishing the 3 out of 4 tournies that Lucas sponsored. Wish I could have made Belton. bang You did a great job man. Let's keep this going next year. Can only get bigger. Congrats to the winners today and all the other Centex tournament winners this year.

Keep on fishing.

I was surprised to see we had came in third place, against such a great bunch of fisherman, if you can come on high amongst this group.. you did well. catching lots of fish on waco isnt too hard most days , but finding the bigger fish is always challenging on waco. We too had good success on the Texas Toast slab bandits, cajun injected minnows, and bobby g Monkey milk plastic tubes. I promised my brother Randy that if he caught 1 good fish,(he caught our biggest). and we got in the loot, I would treat us double patty melt whataburgers.. hes smashing one right now!!! Thanks Again for hosting the series Lucas, and thanks for all that you have taught me abt crappie fishing!!!!!

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

Congrats to all the winners. There are a lot of good crappie fishermen/fisherwomen in Central Texas. Easily 12+ teams that can win on any given day. And as this goes on, everybody will get better. The knowledge improves with every tournament and outing. Since I started fishing tournaments, I've changed probably 75% of what I thought I knew about crappie.

Hopefully we can get more junior anglers out next year. We had far more prizes for juniors than we had juniors. So there is a lot left to start with for next year. Bring those kids out for a good time. All the kids will leave with some fishing gear every time.

Im also looking forward to some fun fishing. Today I started getting frstrated pulling in 11-12" fish. Finally I reminded myself this is fishing and its suposed to be fun, not aggrivating and not to take it to serious. I started to relax and just have a good time and soon after that we landed our 3 biggest fish of the day. Funny how things work out sometimes.

Thanks Rick for the pics. You have kinda been the unofficial official photographer for the CENTEX Tournament Series. Good job on the pics as well as putting fish in our boat. Hope to partner up again next year if your boots are still on American soil. flag

Keep on fishing.
