Dan's luck with batteries seems about 3 months at a time.

No problem here. Been doing that awhile. Lots and lots of use as well. Keep them charged and filled to the correct level with distilled water.

I used to buy the really expensive ones. This has been working well the last six years.

Interstate Batteries I bought in the springtime in Zapata are already shot. They lasted 6 months...
