I'd love to be able to do tournys but they are not in the cards for me as most of them occur during the middle of the girls basketball season.

I sent Ken a copy of our tournament schedule that we posted in June. I know some folks fish both, so I hope they don't happen on the same dates.

John, can you send me a copy or send me a link to your tournament dates? There is a reason behind why I would like access to it.

Thats a catch 22, u think a lower buy in would bring a bigger crowd. I believe a bigger buy in & more prizes might draw more people. I look at bass tournaments: professional bass fisherman arent out there fishing the huge tournaments for fun! Its for the money! Hope I dont hurt anyones feelings but this tournament trail needs a lot more exposure. The only place I have ever seen this tournament advertised is on this forum. I know a lot of catfisherman that arent on here! There should be a flyer at every bass/pro and cabelas in the DFW area! At local bait shops...the list goes on and on! I know bigger turnouts are possilble. Look how many boats were at the Lake Fork tournament a few weeks ago!

Agreed on the flyers , I was'nt implying to make all the tournaments cheap entries only a couple a year for some people that wanna compete but not sure about risking cash.As it stands right now I feel that for 30 bucks a person hey its cheap entertainment for a full day of fun/challenge .I aint too great at the whole typing thing so its hard to express everything I think sometimes.

I'll make the one's I can. Last year didn't go well for me. My back was really messing with me for months . I look forward to seeing you guys again.

T-Mac, out there where? So far the only place I saw them was a copy of an email you posted. That is why I contacted him, because they were not out there officially yet that I could see. Our dates have been officially posted since June. Why would you not want him to change? We'd like to let people fish multiple tournaments if they would like.

I guess that depends on what you define "perfectly" as. They do not fit perfectly in my view. The 2012 dates are the exact same as our dates.
If our Texas area tournament trails want to grow and improve, we need to support each other's trails as well as our own. Scheduling tournaments on the same dates does not do this, it makes it worst for the tournament series involved.
I understand that some people want to stick closer to home, and fish the series that is in their area. But there are others that want to expand their experiences and fish other locations.
This year I plan to fish a CTC tournament or two, and hopefully a NTTC tournament or two as well.

Sounds like its more important to you maybe you should adjust. Just saying
