I made a dolly for mine the same way. I used pneumatic tires i got from harborfreight for $5. It helps a lot when trying to move that thing around.

I hear you there.
If you strap it where the battery is behind the wheels it is real easy to pull around.

Hey guys I am the owner the site texasbassbusters.com
I have never fished in a tournament and decided to start one for owners of small Jon boats and Pelican boats.
Any of you guys interested in fishing the tournaments?
I'm willing to change almost anything so we can start fishing. I picked those 4 lakes because they had small coves and creeks near the launches, but i might end up changing the locations to smaller ponds/lakes.
It all depends on your feedback and if we can get enough locations to fish.
I know of a hand full of people who are already going to fish the tournament. If we could get 10 boats it would be a great time.
Please let me know your feedback.

I would be game and my fishing buddy might be too. He has a buster and i have a Sea Eagle FPB. One thing I might suggest is limit it to electric only. Small cove or pond even; a guy with a 30lb trolling motor would be at a huge disadvantage to a guy in 14ft jon with a 9.9 HP engine and a trolling motor. Just a thought. Sound like fun, I would like to fish with other busters and small boats.

I have a 10ft pelican predator I fish out of. It has 5hp Briggs and Stratton on the back and 40 trust trolling motor on the front. my boat weighs 155 pounds without the motors. I have a full size bass boat but I fish out of the Pelican alot.

I am considering it. I need to get my boat all legal though, its not tagged as I usually fish private ponds most the time. I have never been on large lake where the fish cops are at. How about you? You going to fish one? Maybe you can host in that little honey hole wal-mart pond od yours.... I think you might have an advantage on knowing the good spots though ha ha.

I think we should go out to LBJ grasslands and fish one of the lakes there.

We could ask the tubers and yak guys to play.
I have only been there one time and didn't get on the water but I did see how big the lakes were. We could put alot of boats on it and still leave pleanty of room for everyone.
Of couse we will have to wait until it cools off for me to go.

I am pretty sure us "dry guys" will have to spot the yakers and tubettes a few fish to make it fair.
