there is a place in Ballinger Tx called BeefMasters you can get a 14oz T bone for 18 dollars it is as good a steak as I have ever had and salad bar and tea was included I think that was a good price and a good steak JMO

under 20 bucks is hard to find a decent steak anywhere in a restaurant

$20 was just a figure to start with. You can find great steaks for $30+. I realize that you get what you pay for.

The Rig on Alta Mesa and I35W in FTW has an 8 oz. ribeye for about $9 that is thin but quite good. The 12 oz. is a bit more expensive. I've not tried their other steaks.

The RIG has the best prices and tasting steaks that I have seen.

Hoffbrau used to sell a primerib only on certain days and times that fit the bill, but sadly they quit selling it. The ribeye is pretty good also.

Absolutely!! But, they are getting more difficult to find.

On average, your heart beats 100,000 times a day. One day, one of those heartbeats will be your last. Then what?

The answer is found in Jesus Christ who said "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." John 10:10

You can't beat a Tom Perini steak, but coming in under $20 is going to be a mite tough. I remember when Lowake was the be-all end-all of steaks in Texas, but the last time we went (around 2yrs. ago), it was the most tasteless excuse for steak I've ever eaten. We got the KC for two, and as usual, had enough for 4-5 people but it had no flavoer-it was like eating water disguised as steak.
Not sure about now, but Zentner's and Zentner's Daughter in San Angelo used to be great as well. I think the original Zentner's closed down though...

In Dallas, at the corner of Harry Hines and Burbank, is Dunston's Steak House. Easy to get a steak w/baked potato and salad for under $20.00. I challenge u to find a better steak! Look em up, they are on the web.
