Double Digit will always be an incredible mark to accomplish. I would bet you have some of the most avid anglers in texas on this forum and I bet only 10% of them at most have a CONFIRMED DD.

Still dreaming of a double d or double d's... nuts 10 lbs will always be the goal for me. I really dont think a 10 lb'r is that common. A lot of good fisherman and guides on this forum make it look easier than it really is. Take Falcon and Fork out of the equation and the odds of catching one are really diminished.

I bet 85%-90% of fishermen chase the 10 lb mark. Very few ever have the chance at a 12 so I would have to say no.

Location alone makes most 12's un-achieveable to the majority

Why you have to bring up that, that fish was HUGE and to this day I wonder what it would have weighed 15-16 pound range>>

I'm still under 10 but I am already upping my goal. there seems to be a lot of 10's being caught and photographed. Maybe technology is warping my expectations of a big bass. Maybe before camera phones and instant uploads to message boards like this kept 10 lbers even more rare. One thing is for sure, TPWD is doing a phenomenal job of producing some big fish in our lakes.
