Just got my bi-weekly Falcon fix today. I used crankbaits (mainly square bills), 5 inch senko style baits, and berkley havoc pit boss. I don't think you can go wrong with anything you throw.

I threw a dd22 a bunch this past week there, but found a crank that worked better, for me anyways.

But i'm not telling you what it was :p

That's lame....

Fat free shad;s work very well out there also. My favorite color is the peral shad color. For deeper fish a mans 30+ and hot lips will do the job. And will make your forearms look like poppey.

Thanks guys. I really appreciate the help. It looks like a DD22, mag fluke, square bill, and jig. But one think u could help me on is there any special colors or color doesn't really matter. We will probably be using watermelon and brown colors on the jigs and soft plastics, but what about the crankbaits?

Crankbaits- any variation of shad pattern. When they are eating a DD22 down there it has been my experience it doesnt matter what color you throw. If you see 2 guys in a black tahoe, black ranger be sure to come introduce yourself. I would also suggest grabbing a burito at stripes before you get on the lake. Good luck!

Was just there this past weekend and really about any lure you got near them. All the above plus throw in brightest red lipless and a heavy spinner bait that can be worked fast. Use these to cover water fast. Last Saturday we caught an insane number of 4-7 lbers on the lipless and also pitched wat/red Hoodaddy's and wat/red magic mag flukes into any and all bushes. Found fish on points from 5-25 feet later in the day and 7 foot to the shore early in the backs of creeks.

Just drive through some of the neighborhoods and see what color the houses are painted, then match that.

Hey, don't laugh. It WILL work!!!! laugh
