Never to hot to go. Does affect how long I stay out sometimes. Drink lots and take a break for a while if need be.

We saw water temps of 92 degrees on the surface last Sat @ FORK. But I have caught them outta Monticello in the summer when the surface temp was 102....

All you need is a little lemon butter when you catch them!

Yep... but wait a minute, wait a minute... never tried boiled fish, does it taste good?

I'm 56 (57 on the 24th) and I have been fishing some of these real hot days but it does wear me out more than it used to!

After the heat hits triple digits, I pretty much only go @ night. Not any jet skis or other boat traffic to deal w/ is also a +. The lakes being so low right now is the only real drawback. Go a little slower & be a lot more cautious.

This is a very tall order. We need the best. Get me MacGruber.

Its changing as I get older. A few years ago I would start at sun up and fish till sundown no matter what the temp was. Im going on 41 and am having a harder time getting motivated to stay during the heat of the day nowadays. I go early stay till elevenish. Lay around awhile in the ac and go back around sixish and stay till dark or a few hours after dark.

I can handle heat better than cold. That's why I decided to live in San Antonio (in retirement, which means I had a choice where to live).
When the forecast calls for 3-digit temperatures, I know that it doesn't reach it until it's after 12 noon. So the way I go fishing is: I dress for it, I start early, I drink lots of Gatorade, and I only stay out 4 hours.

Need to improve my LMB fishing, running out of time.

Its to hot now unless they are really biting. I'm ready for 30 degree mornings in my deer stand. I can take the cold a lot better than this heat.

It depends on how their biting. A great bite than I can stay out all day. If it's slow today was to much for me.
