Well done on the PBs

Not much of a carp fisherman,but if I can make it ya'll could show me the ropes.

A month ago myself and my son new nothing about carp fishing.We got skunked our first 3 trips.There are people here on this forum who are very knowlegeable.We lurked here and picked up a few tips. I'll be happy to help you out.If you dont have any bait we will give you some.

I have caught them before by accident, but never really targeted them. I wouldn't even know where to start.

If you show up at Emma you'll be shown the ropes and helped out a lot.

Im in..Between all of us we got enough gear to share a little love with everyone.

Man I swear the carp and catfish section is the best!!! Everyone is nice and helpful.

if there's anything you wanna know about carp fishing then you should try to make it to this event. its a good opportunity to meet a bunch of good folks who can steer you into some carp and teach you how to use some of the fancy carp specific gear.

mulletboy I will show you how to make a rod pod complete with 4 alarms for $49.That includes shipping cost.This is what I used along with a ebay special $13 okuma surfcast spinning rod and reel to catch a 17.6lb PB yesterday.My new bankfishing systems carp rods are still very reasonably priced and are much better for carp fishing.The carp tend to seek my cheapest equipment lately.I,m headed out of town this morning but hopefully we will see ya next saturday and get you started carping.

who has the roll call then for those who are going/or want to go. last time i went it was scorching hot also but trees help a lot.

Thanks for trying to organize this Mr. Clark.All kidding aside it will be hot,especially after 2:00pm.Emma is a bit forgiving up till around that time with good morning and noon time shade.My son and I(team mater)will arrive early 7:00am saturday and fish till around 1:00 or 2:00 pm sunday.We have had good mid day catches.We will try for non utility sites maybe #10 or #13.Hope to see atxwheeler ,soCal or anyone else who would like to drop in.
