I moved my depth finder to the top of my trolling motor tonight. I took off the top cover and drilled some hole in it for my bracket. I rerouted all my wires and got rid of the base it sat on.

It should work out better now, I can just grab the TM and the foot operated on/off switch and put it in the truck as one unit.

I will take a pic tomorrow and show you what I did.

(I saw this on Timmha's boat so I owe him props on the idea.)

Yea ffm I thing you'll like it there better mine is one easy plug and since I stand most of the time it is right there where I need it and it makes getting on the water and off the water a lot faster a nd it's a lot less cluttered

It works great, I am stunned that I didn't think of that before.

Hey FFM lets see a pic of what you all did to that thing. Since I screwed around so much last week it might be a few weeks before I get to fish again.

Anyone intrested in a nice trailer that can be used for buster style boats, and also can double as a light use trailer?

it is a converted Jon boat trailer but will carry 10 ft pond prowler eaasily. Just don't need it anymore. Lights work, good tires and spare.

I talked to the guy who was going to make the brackets for the wheels, he told me 20 bucks a set and I ordered 4 sets. They are going to be made of 1/4" steel so there will be no bending problems when loaded.

In two weeks we will have them in hand.

Sign me up for a set FFM. I will pay you that and a few bucks to install them and show me how to do it.

Then I am going to charge David and Carlos to hook up theirs ha ha.

I am going to put a hardware pack with them.

You will like the finished product.

FFM had some new brackets made for my boat dolly. The old ones were too flimsy. Wont have that problem with these.

His design is pretty slick. One man can move the boat loaded with gear over all types of terrian with little effort.

Cheap to do, simple and will last.
