Fox Hollow on Possum Kingdom north side is the best I have ever had.

Brazos River Catfish Cafe in Millsap. They have outstanding fried catfish and shrimp, and it's owned by some of the nicest folks you'll ever meet. They have 3 kinds of coating available for the catfish - Regular cornmeal, Cajun cornmeal, and Memphis. (memphis = pecan flour) They're located at the Brazos River Bridge on I-20. (take the millsap exit and stay on the service rd.) The place has a pretty cool history and is only open thursday - sunday. Check out the link for hrs. and menu. Technically, it's not in Texas but you can see the Red River from the restaurant.

Is there any good catfish within driving distance of Burleson?
(Crowley, Joshua, Mansfield, Cleburne, Alvarado)???

There's something about Catfish places in East Texas. I'll mention a couple:
1. Big Pines Lodge - Caddo Lake/Uncertain Texas
( original burned down, but they are supposed to be rebuilding it.
2. Spruell's in Dodridge Ark ( just across the Texas Arkansas line - near Atlanta Texas
3. Vaughn's in Mt. Pleasant Texas
In Dallas.. there's
Hook, Line and Sinker, Aw/Big Shucks, and Flyin Fish...
