Been a lurker for a while, and need some help with a little project I have undertaken. I've picked up old lure collecting ever since I found an old tacklebox in my grandpas garage, and it had some treasures in it. There are four in which I am highly interested in learning about. I know about the history of the heddon dowagaic, but I cannot find any info. on the circa or the history of this specific model. Along with that are two more old wooden lures, a topwater (creek chub or a paw paw plunker?) and a what looks like early crankbait. All three wooden lures have the old "cup style" hook att. And last an old old spoon with the tail bonded by old cloth and string. All I know about it is it is an Al Foss Shimmy No.8
Here is the Heddon dowagaic, wood and original paint, glass eyes. cup style hook att.
The "Mystery topwater" Glass eyes, original paint, cup style hook att.
The mystery crankbait, original paint one glass eye, other missing, cup style hook holders.
And lastly the Al foss Shimmy No.8 Spoon read "Al Foss shimmy no. 8 PAT. Apr. 30, '18 May 18,'18
