Soak them with the husk on for 20 minutes or so, then just throw on the grill!

There are some good ideas here that I'll have to try. I usually peel that husks back but leave attached. Remove silk. Cut about an inch off of the end for better absorbtion. Mix equal parts kosher salt and sugar in water until no more will dissolve. Soak corn for at least 2 hours. Pull the husks back up and grill until the husks burn.

Im from Iowa so obviously know more about good corn than anyone. See the corn up there is so sweet you dont need to do much to it. Grimes sweet corn always gets picked second and is my favorite. All it needs is boiled and butter and salt and pepper. MMMMNNNNNNNN.
