who is the girl in the Costa's commercial...my wife and I agree she looks familiar but I can't place her
also do Costas fit us bigger headed guys or are they narrow? They have so many frames that you'll find one that will fit. The Man-o-war is made for big faces, for example.

Yes, they are worth every penny. I have a set of 580 glass and 400 glass lenses. I will never buy anything else.

An optomatrist on the BFHP said if you have glass lenses, you risk getting your eyes put out. He has seen this happen. Ever had a jig or crankbait come loose and hit you in the face? It happens. The best sunglasses I ever had were glass Hobies, but I will not wear glass. I would consider other Costas, though, without glass.

I like mine. Extra fratty. Costa is smart... They market to a large crowd and even come with white frame glasses. Many frats have the purchasing a pair of costas number one of their checklist. I still think a 3rd party needs to come out with a "frat pack" which would entail costas, Columbia shirt, croakies, and some sperry's YES. WINNING

I actually like my Solar Bats better. They are lighter and darker than my Costas.

I have a pair of Costa Brine's, about 5 years old with the green mirror 580 lens. Not the first scratch. And I'm hell on glasses. I've since bought 2 other kind (Harpoons and Howlers). The Harpoons are the best I've found for comfort, paired with a 580 green mirror lens, these are the only glasses I wear on the water now. Bottom line, these glasses are well worth the money.

My 400 fathom amber lenses are perfect and still in great shape....I've been wanting to upgrade to 580 lens. Are they that much better? Costas all the way!!
