I didn't know you needed special scissors. I use braid on most of my rods. I just stole a pair of my wifes scissors and they work fine.

Fiskars kid's scissors from Walmart work as good as anything I've found, they're like $2 a pair.

The guys using nail cutters in this thread, you realize this is braid we are talking about right?
I don't know what kind of nail cutters yall have but i've never had a quick clean cut with them for me, sure they "work" but don't snip right through clean like they do mono, for me anyway.
Back on topic, i used nail clippers for mono, and a pair of the culprit braid scissors for my braid.

+1 on the klein scissors they are awesome!! get them at home depot lowes does not sell them. like Bass_fan says they are used for cutting small diameter electrical wire so they are razor sharp. I have used them for two years and they still cut like new!

fiskars
they sell them in the hobby section. I got a pair of the smaller sized. the longer the blade the worst at cutting.

Look for the scissors that have the serrated/ridged edges. Not the smooth blades. The smooth ones work at first but dull quick. Just like the Guinso knives of old.
