I also love fishing fork, it is an awesome lake. Mark Pack knows that lake like the back of his hand, he is great to fish with!

I have been fortunate enough to get to spend a good bit of time fishing with Mark and personally I have yet to fish with anyone I consider better. On Fork I have seen times where it was like he is part bass and just knows when they will turn on and are positioned. we were throwing the flutter spoon one day last fall and he was getting bit left and right. He noticed I was about 2' off where I needed to be and told me to adjust my casts. I started getting bit after that. another time we were fliiping stumps and he mentioned that one of us was gonna catach a toad on this one spot. sure enough my next cast was a 9lber and then pack hooked what was probably a DD. I also am lucky enough that he has been a mentor and a good friend on and off the water. He is a great teacher and a genuinely good person. I reccomend him to anyone looking for a guide.

Last Thursday me and anothe fellow Tff's member got a chance to fish with Mark pack. This guy really know his stuff and really works hard for you in heat were having. Mark kept our fishing trip simple and explained what we were fishing andwhy the fish were there. We got on a really good jig bite and it was light out for them bass. We ended up with 38. We lost maybe 15 because they kept jumping off. At one of our last spot Mark took us to I threw my jig out there and felt that thump on the end of the line. I set the hook and the line wrap around the boat seat. ( it was crazy) . After getting it untangled I start fightin the fish, then it took me in tree and I thought I lost her. But Mark told me give her some line and when I did she came out of that tree. As she got close to boat I saw her and thought its a DD. This was one of the crazies fish catch I every had. WE thought it was 9 and half but after weighing her she 10.2 lb. Mark said that number 20 in his boat this year of double digit fish. Any ways Mark will post pictures later but Mark is the way to go if your looking for guide out at Fork. I can't wait to fish with this guy again. Thanks Mark. Fork is still the best lake I've every fish. I love me some Fork. Here is the pic of Michael's DD...That was one heck of a fight that fish put up...Congrats.

I got so much alot to thankful for and you'll know who I will thank. I still can't believe it . Three in one year? Hey Mark you got 600 over 10 lb . I got 597 more to go. I'm catching up with you. LOL thanks buddy

LOL thanks buddy There ya go! Im hypertensive. I give my physician fits when I go fishing just before a check up. My BP drops down to the low side of normal just about every time. Personally, I think my doc ought to prescribe at least two hours of fishing every day. Fishing is the most relaxing thing that I know of. Ive got a couple of spots on Lake Fork where I can fish all alone most of the time, and just relax and chill totally out. TFP
