sorry about your bad day man,

I shattered the glass on an HDS 8 one time. Cost me 600 and they sent me a brand new unit. The glass is sealed to the screen so there is no replacing it unfortunately.

Stop worrying about it all. Its just stuff, it can be replaced. And stop living the rest of your day in fear.

Well, I made it through yesterday without incident. I hope I don't have another day like that for a while! I did call Lowrance and they will fix it for me for $362.00. Guess it's better than having to buy a whole new unit.

Sometimes you just have sit back and say "If this is the worst thing that happens to me today, it's going to be a great day" Perspective in times of trouble is tough to come by. Hope you have a better one today, but everyday is a blessing

i had one of them days the other day, got my airboat stuck on sand. broke my umbrella that fits on my boat, makes a damn good shade for fishing btw. and also lost my phone on the river.

Man that sucks. Thats one of those days you just try and throw out the window and start over.
