Hmmmmm I may try Marine Creek like the dude said. I am a fisherman and I truly do take most of what I hear from other fisherman with a grain of salt. I do generally like to give the benifit of the doubt though. I have never fished Marine Creek and probably will try it soon.

man dude you do seem to have some incredible stories and now someone was trying to kill you,WTF was he mad at you cause of your fishing skills idk what the dudes problem was there were like 4 other people who saw it, and they also called the cops, the big crappie was in between 3.5/3.75, it was hard to tell on a manual scale, and i caught a five pound bass the same day it was 20, 22 inches and the crappie was like 3 inches shorter then the bass i'm leaning mor torwards twenty inches, and bankside bartman, if you can i'll head down there with you tomorow, otherwise i'm fishing a pond that has some giants, big enough to fit a 1 liter bottle, not the tube ones but the cone shaped ones in there mouths, the type that bend a medium catfish rod halfway over.

Nice catch. Glad to see that there's actually crappie in there. Been a few times on my kayak and always get skunked.

its in my backyard, and its got oil and blood stains on the concrete from past catches and the lawn mower, and its not much of a porch it has cracked and moved upwards from the ground...we just have some things on there from mowing it, but if anyone wants to i have special permission from a HOA to fish a pond with a friend or two, that has some giants i saw a picture of a 4.5 that came out of there and i had her one summwer as well, she was nearly 20 inches and had a mouth big enough to swallow a 6 inch perch...i get a lot of slabs out of it, and they're fine to eat, if you wanna go pm me, its like marine creek though you gotta pick and weed through the small ones to da any damage

Tall Tales From Texas comes to mind. High powered rifle, 19 inch crappie, and a 3.75 pound crappie all coming from the banks of Marine Creek Lake. Kind of like those 15 inch bream that come out of the Watauga pond. I think I'll get out my popcorn now. lol

thanks radtexan, the only reason i avg that out there is because the keepers you get are usually way overgrown, smallest ones i have ever kept from there was this batch today they were all right at ten to ten and a quarter, and be sure to BRING YOUR LICENSE i was stopped today and the warden saw i had fish and immediately asked for my license and had me remeasure every fish, and be careful out there too i remember last summer a guy pulled in on the road to the ramp, and he stopped and i got an erie feeling like something bad was about to happen, and i looked back he had a high powered rifle out aiming right at me, i got up and moved he followed me with the barrel of the gun, so i finally got up and hid behind the dumpster and called the cops and the guy was arrested... just goes to show you you can never be to careful Man you need to stay off the drugs. There are NO 19" fish in that lake.I know people have fish stories but every time you open your mouth it's a lie. , i didn't say it was nineteen inch fish did i?, and i catch them quite frequently over 14inches out there, and i did catch a 3.5 lb crappie out there i do not have pics but i have a very credible witness, and i have seen people catch them that size before as welll and i've seen pics of the fish they're in there, i'm not going to argue with you, you may not believe me but i speak the truth you just have to take time on the lake and figure out where the sweet spots are, as of now i've only found one, and it happens to be where the 3.5 was caught. and for what reason would they not be in there? the lakes pretty old and its had enough time to grow giants its not my fault you can't figure out the spots where they stay held, and most of the time i dont get a big one out of there unless it's an overcast day, sunny they dont bite as well I'm sorry buddy but you don't have a sweet spot from the bank out there. As far as sweet spots i've got a few. I can go out there and catch 100 fish in 2 hours and may have 1 keeper. Been doing this for 4 years the fish don't grow there for whatever reason. There are a few nice fish in there but not many. I tell you what next time I go I will post on here and let someone go with me to prove my point. You come also and bring your camera with a zoom so you can take pics or record. Make sure it has a good zoom cause you'll be on the bank. I know people you have fished with and they say you're pretty hot headed with a short fuse so you need to be on the bank cause i'd hate for you to have to go swimming.
