Thanks again for the map Galvetraz. The area is pretty easy to learn. I did go down Wednesday afternoon. I fished near the Lagoon for a couple of hours and got one. A guy next to me got 3 all in about 30 min. On Friday my buddy and I hit the water at GYB around 7:30am and found a ton of people fishing! We fished hard at every location on the map and ended up with one flounder and a few tugs from sand trout. We fished non-stop until 3:30 and couldn't take it any more. We were fishing jigs in every color. We only saw about 4 fish landed out of all of the people we were around. Thats my crappy luck. Now I am about to take off for Llano to hunt in the rain. Is this dedication or stupidity? Good luck to you all. I need to get rigged up and try gigging sometime! Great catch Bozo.

Was were out there today, got there about 5:30, fished next to the ferry landing, then down around the sea wolf bridge. Today was pretty slow for alot of anglers. We only got 2 keepers, and alot of little males, buddy of mine got 16 between 4 ppl. but they worked for them. Hopefully with the wind change tides will move to normal levels tomm.

I'm guessing the fishing won't be to good after predicted rain during the weekend? I'd really like to go out there with my new waders on Tuesday and fish both sides of the ferry landing.

We got to Seawolf Park around 4:45am from Dallas. Sit at the gate for another 2 hours waiting for the gate to open. Start fishing around 7am and didn't have the right bait. We couldn't find any finger size mullets or any kind mullets. Didn't catch anything from 7am to 10am. Talk to one of the guy that just arrive to fising hole at 10am and was told that mullets can be found/cast net on the side of I45. Left fishing hole and went to cast for mullets. Found 10 to 15 finger size mullets with an hour of net casting. Come back and find out 5 Koreans people took over our fishing hole. They just come over and and cast their lines over my other 2 bddies that was still fishing there while we find mullets. Those Koreans caught 8 to 10 founders out of our fishing hole while we were away finding mullets. We end up catching only one flounder all day. Pack up our gears and head back to Dallas. What a fishing trip HUH, but we are talking about coming back to fish some more this coming weekend. I was just wondering if anyone going fishing this weekend could hook up with us there and kinda show us the right way to fish for these flouders. I know it isn't hard to catch them as long as to have the right gears and baits. Good luck to all and have a safe fishing.

SORRY ABOUT YOUR BAD LUCK! that fishing hole is NOT yours! if it's anybodys hole,it's the LOCALS that have fished it for years like myself. HUH!

I wouldn't mind a map either. I hate driving down there all the way from Houston and not catching anything. frown
