I'm having a hard time figuring out just exactly where I want to mount my bow mount finder. I don't care for it completely on the floor and looking at it 6' away. I'd like to get it higher, however not get too much in the way if possible. What are you guys doing for yours? Are people commonly just running ram mounts? Pictures or recommendations for what has worked for you?

Thanks cheers

Here are some pictures I took Saturday while Pake was catching schooling sandbass. You can see where I have my bow unit mounted. I used a puck from Transducer Sheild and Saver to run the cables up. I also used their trolling motor mount for the transducer. I highly recomend their stuff.

This is what I ended up with, may try and fish for a little bit tonight and see how it works out. Should make a pretty good difference in how I was reading it before. Tried to keep it out of the way of the TM going up and down, tough with a small deck!
