Shopped and shopped pontoon/deckboat... Bought(Stole) an older Hurricane SD22 deckboat. Great boat, will seat about 12 or fish about 6-8. 350 MPI V8. 46 mph
Nice smooth and dry ride. I have no complaints, EXCEPT ... Wish I would have bought one a lot sooner ...

My .02

I have my 16 ft bass boat for sale now !!! PM ME

Lee

I have a 2003 Hurricane GS 211 center console deck boat. Great boat. It's for sale by the way.

I've had the 21.5 ft VIP Deckliner in signature block since 1996 and have loved it. I ordered it at the Houston summer boat show to have the floor plan custom made for maximum circulation space and to have the height of bimini top such that my 6 ft 3 in frame doesn't have to stoop to walk under it. I can sit under it on the back and cast with ease in its shade to make summer fishing more comfortable. It has a 305 V8 inboard Mercruiser engine and will do about 45 MPH although 35 MPH is as fast as I like to go. I didn't want a pontoon because at the time I didn't know of a pontoon that would get me off the lake fast in a sudden storm.

I intended my boat pictures for the thread about "how do you clean your boats after fishing" and put on this one by accident. Sorry if that confused anyone.

My boat is a 19' center console aluminum. I'd like a 21 or 22 to be honest. Buddy recently bought an Xpress 22' CC and that would be perfect for me. I also prefer aluminum because I can drive up on rocks and tie off and not have to worry about punctures, etc. But I'd love the stability of a heavy glass boat in rough water. Like they say, there is no PERFECT boat for all occasions.
