Always like to put in at Oak Ridge when going to the East side. Thanks Barry for checking it out.

Okay, here's the official story on the ramp:
As I suspected, the remnant of the old ramp is rearing its ugly head.
- At the current water level (398.67' or 4.33' low), the new ramp extends 24'-27' out from the water line. - At the end of the new ramp, the water is currently 3' deep. - Beyond the end of the new ramp, the water drops off QUICKLY to 3.5'-4'. - About 4'-6' beyond the end of the new ramp, ON THE LEFT LANE ONLY, the old ramp is only 2' deep. - This shallow corner of the old ramp is in the middle of the launch area. - The right lane has no obstructions.
The old ramp is too far out from the shore to rip out with a trackhoe. As the lake level drops, our ability to reach it will improve.
In the meantime, I have put marker posts out in the water to clearly show both the end of the new ramp and the shallow corner of the old ramp. I've also blocked the left lane above the water.
As the lake level continues to fall, the drop-off at the end of the new ramp will become a factor. Before that happens, I will bring in some chunk rock to eliminate the sharp drop-off at the end of the new ramp.
Short story: Launch on the right lane (looking at the water).

Thanks, Barry! Now if I could only teach Pake to back up the truck andd park it or back the boat off and beach it, I would have it made.

Won't be long before Pake can do that. Thanks Barry for staying on top of the ramp. I'm sure everyone here appreciates it.
