As far as what I've tried to catch and haven't? HUGE Red drum. ( caught smaller ones but not a BIG one. ) And HUGE Alligator gar.

As far as stuff I'd love to catch but haven't yet...

Sturgeon! They're HUGE!
Salmon. Also would love to catch one of these.

Lived up north for a while so I've already got Northern Pike, Musky, etc.

Topic title says freshwater, lol. Otherwise, yeah, Marlin, obviously. And great white.

Won't take that long if you know where to look. I landed a dozen or so this weekend over 5lbs, 2 over 6. Looking for an 8, I've broken 7 twice.

I want a DD largemouth, not likely up here though. Might have to make the pilgrimage down near you folks sometime soon!

For me it has to be Salmon, any kind. In the military I lived in Washington for a few years and also got to go to Alaska. I think there is no rush like having a silver or chinook on! The fight is amazing, and so is the taste! Down here, would have to be hybrids.

Hey man...if you are ever able to make it to Lake Corpus Christi during the spawn and get out to a lighted pier you will have all the gar action you can handle. When my family had a place there I would wear my arm out catching gar from the pier at night. The neighbor used to shoot them with a .22 rifle. Redneck style. Then they would recover the carcasses and fry em up.

I had the lake record for a short period on skiatook lake here in Oklahoma for Smallmouth. 7lb 2oz. Didn't last but a couple months till it got beat out by a 7lb 4oz.
I would still have to say i want a 10+ Largemouth. Caught some 8's but haven't broke DD's before.
