I have reserved from chiming in until now but this has all of the ingrediants which make me dislike several other tournament trails I fish.

#1 Let's do what makes me, and my buddies happy and is convenient for us.

#2 Let's act like we want input and that we are receptive to said input, up until it doesn't fall into criteria #1 then disregard

#3 "You will never make everyone happy" This is a correct statement and that is what a democratic process is for. Take nominations, reduce nominations to several finalists and then re-poll based solely on finalists, up untill it doesn't meet criteria #1 then disregard and "You are never going to make everyone happy"

#1 I took the votes straight from the poll-Not my buddies wishes

#2 I wanted the input to try and make everyone happy- which I will never

#3 I am just a volunteer putting this together with the only benefit is I enjoy my boat and I love to fish.

You do not have to make the event if you do not want to. But please do not blast me for it.

I expect we will have a record amount attend the event. This is a 100% pay-out and we will have alot of prizes and nobody will go home empty handed!

We will have alot of fun and meet alot of peple!

Im in for fork, Love it, depending on the date.

But I bet if Texoma had been added to the polls Fork would not have won. It would have been between Texoma/Sandlin/Fork with Texoma winning because it is a great lake to hold a big event.

# 1 what process was used to determine the "poll" list ? It appears as if it wasn't resultant from input of this board.

# 2 Why ask for input if you ignore it.

# 3 Bass cat owners are some of the best and most willing people to help one another out. Ask for help and ye shall receive.

Call it however you want... Everyone has the right for their opinion...

Again, I am just a volunteer trying to keep this event alive here in Texas. I have zero benefit for doing this and taking remarks from you on it.

It is your choice to fish it or not.

I guess our 8 guys are out again talked to the crew today we are OUT!! Don't want to drive 5 Hrs for dinks yes it's all for fun but if your going to have a tourney make it on a tourney lake. Plus it would have been nice to poll the date as well.

Oh Heck, Everyone chill on this, Fork is a fine lake, lot of fun to fish it as well.
Grant2 you guys come on up and have some fun.

I guess it is supposed to be as much about showing off the kittys as it is about a real tournament.

I agree Fork shouldnt be the place to have it, but they decided to do it there so lets all get together and have a couple beers etc. fish cheers

Chill is right! Anyone can put on one of these tournaments.

If you want to have it on some other lake then put it all together and if we can make it we will. The wife and I are always ready for a road trip.
