We all stumble and make mistakes. When you stumble, do you want your brother to help knock you down or to help set you back on your feet?

Well we went out this morning and wacked them pretty good nothing big but lots of 3 and 4 lbers with a two 5 lbers. We just got done with fresh red snapper off the grill with fries and blue bell . Oh and a Corona and a nap.... Life is good!!
Not that it makes much difference but we are shallow cranking and chatterbaits.

Slept in this morning, fished from 930 to 200. We had 12 with the biggest 5.5lbs. We did more riding around in Mexico than fishing. Emmah, my 7 year old had two alligator gar, both were over 15 lbs. Not a bass but a heck of a fight. The fish we have caught came on a Santone jig and a DD22.
Now we are back at the hotel pool, had some Churchs chicken. Bout time to retie and go out for round 2.
For those of you that know me, know that I will speak the truth (good or bad). So on my updates I will keep it real. With that being said, this place is plain awesome!

Well, we ended up with over 40. Not stellar, but not terrible. I blew it on what I think was 2 big fish, broke 30 lb power pro. The 25lb Seaguar is holding up ok, but must retie often as it takes a beating down here. The trusty old Big Game in 20 lb has actually been the most reliable. The fish bit the entire time we were out, and they bit a buffet of baits. We have some nice pics and videos, which I will post after we get back or I will ask Jersey Dan to help me tomorrow.

Well, chillin back at the swimming pool. We found them good this morning. Had an 8, two 7's, and 30 plus more (most around 4 and 5 lbs). All but a few on a Santone Jig. Next trip I am wearing gloves so my hands don't get so chewed up. Gonna go retie and prep for another round 2.
