Why do we continually harass one of the only vendors that is willing to get on the TFF and post about products, services, and offer advice and solutions?
Any problems / grievances / snide questions should be addressed through e-mail, not here on the public forum.
If you don't get any resolution, then feel free to go public, only after the matter wasn't resolved in the private way.
It'll prolly get you alot farther her on the TFF and in life!
-Alton Because he originally got on here and tried to tell us that we didnt need all the data that they removed. That the data coordinates werent correct and not accurate enough. Then he disapeared for a year and then just has recently come back after everyone starting bashing Navionics. Then he has the balls to say we are beating a dead horse in reference to all the missing data. If they werent getting bashed all over "this public forum" and others, I dont think they would be out doing all their updates. Tim

Thanks RayburnJunkie, You clarified my suggestion perfectly about having the ability to change lake levels and in doing so, the contour depth readings would then be more accurate, as well as changing some of the shallow flats and humps to read as dry land or islands during low water fluctuations. Also, having the ability to highlight certain depths and or depth ranges would be invaluable when honing in on a particular depth pattern. One of the companies can already do this, but I am a Navionics fan at least for now. Come on Navionics; you can surely do this programming for us in future upgrades, can't you?

No It doesn't it still reads the same depth. What he is talking about is being able to actually change the depth on the chip to adjust for lake levels. Only one company is doing that right now. So to clarify, the navionics map has contour lines, just like any paper map. These contour lines show the contour of the lake prior to it being filled. Now, if a contour line is showing to be 40' which would be at full capacity, and the lake is 20' low I know that by changing the shaded depth to 20' will not change that contour line to read 20', but it will shade the contours reading 20' or less to a color that would tell me it is out of the water, i.e showing as dry land or hump, etc..
Taking 5 to the weigh-in occurs when opportunity meets successful execution of one's preparation.

How about a free update for the Navionics card that's not premium and purchased after October? Didn't want to pay an extra $30 for lakes I didn't need and now can't get updates.
