Dont fish or load your boat on the Ft. Worth side of the lake.

Thats about as far as my info on Lake Arlington goes.

I fish there from the bank. The best ramp seems to be Bowman Springs park. I have caught cats there some good ones, but it is tough going from the bank. Usually live perch catch the blues, stinkbait for the channels lost a flattie on a perch too. That is about as far as I know that lake. PM me if there is anything else I can help with.

Like stated above stay on the Arlington side. Bad stuff goes on at the Ft. Worth ramp. I used to fish there on the way home from work. But saw some things that made me change my mind.

MR you are correct THERE AINT NO fISH ARLINGTON

You can fish cut bait or punch bait under a cork near the discharge and catch plenty of catfish. Just take a knife, a gun and wear a bullet proof vest. If your bank fishing watch where you are stepping also, lots of dirty needles laying around.

Hey guys all kidding aside I have fished and played on this lake for years and never really had a problem with any one on around the bowman springs and NE ramp coming off parks springs rd. Majority of people I meet as long as you give respect you get respect back, that is what fishing fellows do. there are a number of good spots out there that have nice channels and you can go and have a good time, just as always on any lake you can run into rift raft that think they own the lake. If something like that happens which is very far and few between I will go to another spot and catch fish. As always you need to be careful and keep your eyes open because every lake can have it's own danger. If you go there and need some areas to fish PM me I will try to point you the right way. Go fish and have gun and always teach the little ones to fish, my greatest joy is to hear the laughter of the little ones and newbys. GOD BLESS
