I was able to spend a few hours with Mr. Petty, wow does he know his stuff. He has forgotten more than I will ever know. Like Stinkbait Tom said, "Mr. Petty knows how to find the fish"He offered to show me how to throw a net and stay dry, as well as letting me record and share with everyone. The video is straight off of my phone, Enjoy!!! Thanks again Mel!!!

Mel,
Are you spinning the net with your left hand when you release or just tossing it? I would love to be able to throw it that way!! Great job!

If you can't get all soaked and slimy throwing a cast net you just don't get the full experience tho!!!!!!!

This is how I've always thrown a net. I didn't know there was another way.

well I absolutely will take you up on the offer Mel. Lunch on me - you come on too K.P.
I gotta work tomorrow, then off 2 days then work Fri, and off the weekend.
Mel I'm serious as a heart attack about this, so I'll contact you next day or two for a convenient to your schedule time. I can't wait!
