Yes, Thomas is newly married and busy right now.... I hope I can do as good of a job as he did!

Rockie, you will do FINE. There have always been a LOT of Bass Cat Owners who always step up to help wherever possible. Thomas has done a fantastic job getting this event started in Texas and I am happy to see that there are others willing to pick the ball up and run with it. It takes a LOT of work and commitment and I know it will be a success as you take the reins this year! Pledging my support!

Thanks Mike! I am excited to be a part of a great family. At the end it's all about having a good time and meeting some great friends along the way! One great memory I have was last year when we were all waiting for fog to lift just seeing all the great looking rigs all around me. I do not think anyone left without something! That will be my goal this year!

How about adding Ray Roberts to that list? it's bigger then sandlin, the same size as Fork and plenty of fishable water....

Why isn't this called the North Texas BassCat Owners Event since that is the only place it ever happens ?

We try and have the event in a more central type area. Since Basscat owners come from all over. Last year we had someone come all the way from Washington.

Is this a team event? If it is ...I'm available for a back seat. Plenty of tournament experience and once owned a Cat. PM me if you need a partner ready to share expenses.

Guys if you run a bass cat this is an incredible event. My girlfriend and I drove in from Oklahoma and had a ball. Very well organized event!!!

Howdy Rockie, just a thought, how about having everyone nominate a lake and taking the top three lakes, then everyone vote on those three. Either way I will do my best to be there where ever it is. And thanks for all you will be doing for this event. It will be a blast.

That crossed my mind as well!

I had the opportunity to tag along last year and had a blast.. I met lots of great 'Cat owners out there. Great bunch of guys and some pretty boats to boot! Having it on a lake where anglers really have an opportunity to catch a lot of fish is always a great starting point in my opinion. Having it on a tough lake can take a lot of the fun out of it.

But the thing is, Bass Cat already has an owners event for the entire country. They have it in Arkansas or Alabama every year. I thought that this tournament was intended to be for Texas owners, not another event for the entire country. That being the case, location relative to the rest of the country should be irrelevant. There are BassCat dealers in other parts of Texas that would love to be involved in this event if it was closer to their shop.

I dont care where we fish its the date that I need. Thanks for your hard work and please post a date asap.
