Cabelas has a emotion fishing grand slam 14ft kayak in the bargain cave. It shows light wear. It says it was listed at $1100 marked down to $430? Are these any good?

Haha, I have the same pics on my phone. I was going to post them up as it looked like a good deal. The tag was marked damage, so I would give it a thorough look over before purchasing. It looks like a nice kayak for a good price.

I looked it over hard. I see no damage but minor scapes in normal spots

Seats usually have 4 connection straps, sometimes 5. Get the one that fits your pocket and seat of your pants. Shop around and look at a couple and Congrats! Thats a great deal.

Just get a high back 4 point seat. As for the paddle, I usually go for a 240cm. I still use a Bending Branches Whisper with a Carlisle Day Tripper as a spare. They work for me.

The 2 holes are scupper holes used to drain water out if water gets in the cockpit.

I use a BB Slice Angler 240 and I love it, I'd reccomend that
