I have never decided to buy any and was just curious why many people prefer to use them. Any one care to share why or why not????

They feel great but the cost sucks

Lots of them online but try a sample out before you invest a lot of money
Been burned by cheap weights with and without inserts

It's all I throw!

Smaller so it comes through cover better

It's harder so it transmits feel better

Tru-Tungsten was bought out by their partner company Picasso, same great product!!

Tacklewarehouse has TT on sale!! Also carrying the new Picasso!

X2!

Being able to feel the bottom better often times feeling the difference between wood and stone gives you a whole new perspective of what's down there. Tungsten is smaller, it's also louder when it hits something.

Lets not forget that you will instantly make friends with and help some radicals sleep better at night because some loon won't choke on a lead weight.

Same weight vs: lead---Tungsten is 30% smaller and more dense for better feel.

The tungsten will give your boat a bigger chip in the gel coat when you set the hook, miss the fish and the weight comes back at 100mph whacking the boat. But I still like the small size.
