I'm so mad right now I can hardly stand it. I was at a pawn shop and bought a new to me CU200b and a falcon original 7'0 M for $125. I was so excited because the price was awsome (both rod and reel were in mint condition) and I had a new crankn combo that I have been waiting on for a long time. So after going to the pawn shop I stoped by the gas station to get gas I went inside paid the clerk and filled up. when I looked in the bed of my pick up it was gone! I couldn't believe it I looked around and I was the only car there when I pulled up and the only one there when I came out. I wasn't even in there five min. So I run back in hoping the place had security cams on the pumps but they didn't only inside on the clerk and the door. (small town gas station) So any way I geuss trying to make my Monday a happy day backfired and I'm out $125 and the new to me combo. I went back to the pawn shop and told the owner to be on the look out for that combo coming back in. He couldn't believe it and said he was really sorry and that he would call me if he saw it.

Sorry to hear that. Not smart leaving anything of value out in the open even for a few minutes. I'm sure you realize that now. Had my golf clubs stolen once, there were people all around and no one saw it happen.

Bad deal man... Sorry to hear about that. Sadly this is a reality for all of us these days. If it isn't tied, chained, straped, locked, hidden or out of sight,,,thieves will surely strike eventualy....And sometimes all of the above doesn't stop em.

Just a thought....

I always put mine up heck I've even carried my stuff into where I was going because I didn't want to leave them in the cab of my truck. Never thought this would happen when I was just going in and out of a gas station and I also wonder if someone in the pawn shop didn't follow me or something.

Have a friend who left all his tackle in the bed of his truck on campus so he could get a quick dinner in a dorm. Went back to his truck to find everything gone.

Same happened to me in BPS parking lot. It gets all over me when someone just leaves a shopping cart in the parking lot and inevitably it will blow/roll into my truck. I ran it back in and was rewarded with a two stolen combo sets. Never left one unattended since then. Sorry to hear.
