I don't know but I had something weird happen like that too. I went swimming this morning around Caney Creek and something hit me, my back has been killing me ever since never did see what it was? I saw a white bus and a big group of guys wearing red jump suits that said TDC on the back at Caney Creek just this morning. They were picking up trash right on the waters edge.

A year or so back my son and I were returning to our place just inside the mouth of Cedar Branch Creek. The waves were every bit of 4'.We were in the area of the MidLake Hump when we were shocked to see what appeared to be a telephone pole. It would show about 8" between the whitecaps. Weather was too rough to pinpoint the location but it was around 150 yds. out from the little rock dock. I suggest that you give that area a wide berth.
