So I'm pretty new to bass fishing and I'm wondering if you guys have any pointers for me on this problem. I've been using baits like Brush hogs and Space monkeys T-rigged with a 3'0 ewg hook. I find that after a few fish or bites they slide down the hook. Overall they are still in good condition so I want to keep using them but they just don't work sliding down the hook. So if you guys have any pointers let me know.

You can either add a dab of super glue or you can run a toothpick into the plastic and thru the hook eye.

There is a great example on here with picture and video of using a straight shank hook with shrink wrap behind the eye...This works a as GREAT bait keeper!
Someone has it, if so please post it for this guy...I think it was Mark Perry...Good Luck, sorry I couldnt help you more.

I make my own as shown below. I will also vary the distance from hook eye to ythe shrink wrap to accomadate baits of all sizes.

I use alot of those Gamagatsu skipgap hooks. They hold up plastics better than the regular offsets.

+2 on toothpick. Cheap, works with most hooks, and last all day.

I tried them and did not really care for them. They hold the bait up but are a bit of a pain getting into the worm. Tooth pick works good as well as superglue. Mend it also works good if you want to take a minute and do a few at a time.
