I checked the sunnie bite at Dunlap this morning. It seemed normal to me. I fished i hour and 10 minutes with my trusty crickets on the float. I caught 25-30 various sizes and species including 12 redbellies 7" to 8.5" and one 9 inch. Kept a few small ones for supper tonight. Then I dropped the float and switched to worms to give crackering another go. Caught one small one before calling it a day.

I went up to spillway today to see where you were talking about. I assume the tall structure is the old generator. Didn't have time to drop a line there but will soon. Thanks for the tip.

I think I finally figured out where you were a few weeks ago re your post about a small park and overpass. I think it is what looks like was once a business of some kind. It is on the river immediately north of the business 81 overpass. It's between the mill dam and the 35 ramp. You probably saw a rv park accross the river, right?
Good fishin to you

Good fishin to you I forget who, but someone posted on that thread about the spot - I think he found it. He even put a picture up of the area but I don't know if he decided to go fish the spot or not. He said it was a very small park that was created after some homes were flooded out in the area. It's close to the two bigger parks you mentioned a few blocks away but is actually literally in the middle of a residential area rather than part of either of those parks.
Everyone has to believe in something - I believe I'll go fishing!
