I know for a fact there are some good bass in there, it's been stocked by someone... I have caught fingerling bass while sunfish fishing with my son, so the bass are in fact spawning. I've caught a few sunfish as large as my hand! There's not much structure there except for when the aquatic foliage grows in during spring and summer.

People have been pulling small bass out of Bailey, maybe a pound or so. The old tank behind Bailey produced a nice three pounder caught by a 10 year old kid the other day, saw him catch it. He released it into Bailey.

Anyone know what all the construction is about around the lake...looks like a path going alongside the creek.
I have only had the chance to drive by...Any info would be great.

I don't know but the road/path you're talking about behind the lake was already there long before. Something is going on though, need to hike back there again.

If I remember correctly and if it's the same construction I'm thinking of, they are putting in apartments. Not right next to the creek or anything but any more developement around there is too much. On the south side of Hidden Creek Parkway it looks like some office buildings are going in, if I read the right sign.

Went fishing with my son so he could test his new baitcasting setup. I caught a nice little female at Bailey lake on a texas rigged green pumpkin grande bass megatail rattlesnake.

I fished the creek not too long ago. A couple small bass, but not much else. I parked near what was a newly paved jogging/bike path around the sport complex along the creek.

What does Lake Arlington have to do with Hidden Creek? Lat time it rained all the water was flowing east. Not from Lake Arlington.
