Rules are made you can get them at the sign up. To qualify for championship you must fish at least 6 tournaments.

Remember, if you break the plane of the Louisiana side you have to have a Louisiana fishing license. If below the intracostal canal, saltwater will also be required. If from La, the same goes for the plane of the Texas side. If below the interstate, saltwater license will be required.

Once a team is established can one person fish for the team in case work schedule conflicts???

It is almost at the end of Simmons right before you get to the stop sign. The turnoff to the ramp will be on the left. If this is the one you are talking about. Wish we could fish both, but i work 4/10's and can not make it in time. Ya'll have fun

It says " no practice on tournament day". I've never been to Sabine River. As long as rods stay in rod boxes are you allowed to get on river Tuesday just to learn how to navigate???

So, the tournament ramp will be the one on the river right next to the flood control gate and the barge tie-ups, Correct?

I saw there is another ramp closer to I-10, closer to some of the canals, just want to be sure we know which ramp the tournament is launching from?

If you are coming from IH-10 and turn onto Simmons drive you will go roughly 1 mile and you will see Blue birds fish camp to the Left, this is where the ramp is.

It is on a high line cut thru canal off the river. Also the same canal that leads back to the Airboat tours you see off IH-10

Justy to clarify, Thursday night Neches tournament, you are only allowed 3 fish to weigh in?? Also any one have an idea about how many boats show up to fish??

The tournament is out of the public ramp by the flood control station. It is the ramp off of the main river. If you go to blue birds by the high line where the canals are no one will be there. You are not allowed to be on the river at all on tournament day even though the rods stay in the box.

just go on a weekend and run the sabine and figure it out. the ramp is the main ramp off of simmons drive. not blue birds landing. the simmons ramp is much bigger, and is very well lit up at night.
