My buddy was the first of us to get a boat. I had just gotten a brand new rod and reel as well. Ready for the maiden voyage and head to whitney. No problems launching and caught loads of fish in Steele Creek. Head back to the ramp, boat back on the trailer, check, plug out, check, tie downs secure, check, ALL rod and reels secure??? Well it turns out this boat had the velcro straps to secure rods to the deck...guess who didn't strap there brand new R&R? On the way back it plopped out and we never knew. Still sick about that one and it was 15 yrs ago.

Snakes in the boat? No freaking way. I would freak out and probably, no not probably, would blow holes in my boat

I'm headed north up the boat lane at Pines the left then right turn in front of Pine Hill wide open and another boat right on my tail. Well at the left turn my motor starts trimming up till it's out of the water and I try to trim down but it keeps comming up so I kill the motor and nearly get rearended by the following boat. I try the trim on the shifter and at the motor still want trim down so I troll back to the ramp and winch boat onto trailer. Then I check my rods strapped to the deck and notice that one of the handles had slid against the front trim switch during that high speed turn. DUH
