My favorite reel in that price range is the Bass Pro Carbonlite, great drag, lighter than everything else in the price range and will cast a mile. The carbonlite is great... but go get it serviced. It is much like Pfluegers (which I own). Parts are scarce and if you need it back within a week or two, well, you may be stretched for time unless you are under warranty. Stick with a Shimano or Daiwa product and never worry about return time. They pay the cost to be the boss... better yet you pay the cost to have it back to you in time. Just my $.02.

You have to decide which is more important.

Best all round rod for $120
CastAway's XP3 7Mag ... 7M-X ... Hard to beat this rod for versatility. My favorite blank in CastAways entire line. CastAways #1 blank. ...XP3 7M-X ...  I've fished the Go2 rods. Was mediocaretly impressed until I fished a Falcon Hd rod which was $20 cheaper. It gave a much more sensitive feel, with a little more weight.

In My Opinion The Citica Is The Best Reel For Around $100. The Carrot Stix Wild Series Are Pretty Good For The Price.
