Alright guys I got to vent a little here!

Today I went out to Ray Hubbard with someone I have been fishing with for a very long time (I wont name any names because thats not going to solve anything). But anyway I knew with the wind blowing like it was the fish were going to be stacked on one spot so we hooked up the boat and head out there. From the time we hoped in the truck to the time we called it quits on the water it was just non-stop complaing about this and that. As soon as we pulled up on this spot this person caught one about 4.5 pounds and on my second cast I caught one about 2 pounds. The whole trip lasted maybe 3 casts each and then I threw my hands up in the air and said lets go. I couldnt take the non-stop complaining anymore! Its hard enough battling the wind for boat positon but when you have someone in the back with such a negative attitude towards the whole situation it made it completley unbearable for me. No telling how many fish we would have caught had we stayed but I couldnt take it anymore.

Sad to say but I dont know if I will ever share a boat with this person ever again.

I guess the lesson to be learned today is to never allow another negative attitude in the boat again.

Sorry for the rant but I feel better now.

Ya, a negative attitude in the boat or anywhere else, is never a good thing.

I agree with keepin my mouth shut if I have a four pounder!

We're all a victim of being negative. I have done it a few outings and I know I probably pissed off my fishing partners. The key is to realize you are out fishing and both parties should try to make it as enjoyable as possible. I'd say in the future maybe to address it right away with the guy and say listen man this is ridiculous with all your bitchin' and moaning. I am out here to have a fun day and get on some fish. If you're not on board with that I can drop you off at the boat ramp and let me go fish in peace. I'm sure he'll get the hint and change quickly lol. Sometimes people just need to be put in place- including myself sometimes I get whiny about the wind, etc. and a wakeup call/ head check that the person is being annoying usually solves any more whining lol.

Shower regularly and that issue will subside.

I come on here to get away and all I hear is bitchin. Just kidding. I feel the same way when I am on the lake. I go to get away from all of the gripping and bitchin. If I would want to hear bitchin then I would stay home with the wife.

The wind, the waves, backlashing, how he almost fell out of the boat....ect. Yes he is a member.
